For private equity operating partners

One playbook across your portfolio,
running in every company.

For operating partners and roll-ups: AI departments deployed into each portfolio company from one playbook, each in its own workspace, with cost tracked per company and results reviewed against a baseline.

Where portfolio AI plans stall

The targets are set, the team isn’t there

The plan calls for automation and margin gains in every company, and none of them has people to deliver it.

Every company solves the same problem alone

Each portfolio company is working out the same back-office automation on its own, with its own vendors.

The consultants left a deck

You paid for a strategy. What you needed was the work running in the companies.

Workflows

How it runs across a portfolio

A pilot in a few companies becomes the playbook for the rest.

  1. A pilot in 2 to 3 companies

We assess the repeatable work in each, pick the workflows they share, and launch them in each company.

  2. One playbook, a workspace each

The workflows that work become the portfolio’s playbook. Each company runs it in its own workspace, with its own connections and AI keys.

  3. Cost tracked per company

AI cost is tracked per workspace, so you can see what each company spends.

  4. Results reviewed per company

Each company’s assessment records a baseline, and our team reviews the results against it every month.

  5. New companies start from the playbook

An add-on acquisition starts from the workflows already working elsewhere in the portfolio, not from scratch.

Another pilot that never scales?

The pilot runs in 2 to 3 companies on the same playbook, so what works is ready for the rest of the portfolio.

Portfolio company leaders

The work gets done. Your team stays in charge.

A mandate from the fund that disrupts the business?

It works in the company’s own tools and accounts, on its own AI keys. The team approves what matters, and our operators run it every day.

How it starts

From one call to a running department

  1. Assess

We map the repeatable work in each portfolio company and the workflows they share, the hours it takes and the systems it touches, and pick where to start.

  2. Launch

The first workflows go live in your tools, with approval steps set and a baseline recorded.

  3. Operate

Our operators run it every day and review the results with you each month, or we hand you the keys.

Questions

What operating partners ask us

Is each company’s data kept separate?

Yes. Each company has its own workspace, with its own connections and AI keys, and every agent run is logged.

Does every company have to run the same departments?

No. The playbook is the starting point; each company’s assessment decides which workflows it runs.

Do you have a SOC 2 report?

Not yet. The controls on our Security page are in place today and a SOC 2 audit is planned. We will not describe Harnyss as SOC 2 compliant until an auditor has issued a report.

We can run it for you, or build it and hand you the keys. Compare the two paths →
